More About... Guatemalan - Finca El Paternal Estate
Explore the Unique Elegance of Guatemalan Coffee from Finca El Paternal Estate

Nestled in the heart of Guatemala, a country celebrated as a premier coffee destination, lies the Finca El Paternal Estate. This estate has carved out a prestigious position for itself in the global coffee scene, thanks to its commitment to producing coffee beans of unparallelled quality.

The essence of Finca El Paternal Estate's coffee cultivation lies in a trio of natural advantages: the fertile volcanic soil, the perfect balance of altitude offering cool yet conducive temperatures for coffee growth, and a climate that strikes the ideal balance between dryness for aromatic cherry development and moisture to nurture the blossoms.

The coffee beans cultivated at Finca El Paternal Estate are a testament to the unique terroir of the Guatemalan highlands. They boast a rich aromatic profile, a well-maintained acidity, and a velvety texture. The flavour profile is complex, with dark chocolate and caramel leading the charge, complemented by a medley of tropical fruit and spice notes that linger tantalisingly on the palate. This creates a harmonious and indulgent coffee experience that captivates connoisseurs and casual drinkers alike.

But what elevates the Finca El Paternal coffee beans above the rest? It's the meticulous care and traditional methods employed in every step of their journey. From the selective handpicking of cherries to the artisanal washing and natural sun-drying processes, every action is designed to preserve the beans' inherent characteristics and flavour.

Moreover, Finca El Paternal Estate is a beacon of sustainability and ethical practises. The estate prioritises environmental stewardship and the wellbeing of its community, ensuring that every aspect of its operation contributes to a thriving ecosystem and fair conditions for its workers. This holistic approach reinforces the estate's reputation, not just for the exceptional quality of its coffee but also for its commitment to making a positive impact.
